Nokia Betalabs: Gig Finder updated with new features!

Nokia Betalabs today released an updated version on Gig Finder. The update brings few improvement to the app with couple of new features.

“Catch the best live music and discover must-see bands with Nokia's Gig Finder. Price compare tickets before they sell out and share events with friends on Facebook. From small towns to major cities across the world, underground bars to massive concerts and festivals, Gig Finder learns your music tastes to provide the best events happening near you. What's more, you can find your gig via Ovi Maps or download your favorite tracks, powered by the Ovi Music!”

Key features include:

Improved: Get gig recommendations based on your music taste and location.
Search for concerts by artist, genre, city, venue and dates
Add artists to your music profile to be notified when they play concerts near you
Find where to buy tickets and compare prices
Get directions to the venue using Ovi Maps
New: Preview tracks from that artist or go through to Ovi Music to purchase songs
Improved: Invite your friends using Facebook, SMS or e-mail (Selecting Facebook friends from within the app was a requested feature)

Nokia Betalabs: Mobile Documents beta updated with couple of fixes!

Quick head up, Nokia Betalabs just released updated version of 'Mobile Documents' v0.9.21 by Visarc. The update brings couple of improvements and bug fixes.

"MOBILE DOCUMENTS offers Cloud-Boosted Push Mail – fast, easy, nice, intuitive and with a unique feature set that makes it different from any other mobile mail client and experience. Mobile Documents is the only app to do mobile documents, solving the #1 problem in mobile mail, heavy attachments. With unique patent pending remote attachmnet handling and cherry picking technologies it offers a different user experience and represents a paradigm shift in email."

Issues resolved in this release v0.9.21 :

Gmail and Google Apps signup fixes
Multiple Microsoft Exchange fixes, most importantly signup issues
Improved email address handling, more fault tolerant to broken email addresses
Phone status field graphic glitch when hiding the app fixed

Nokia’s Qt team has released first alpha version of Qt for Android (Necessitas). With this release, it is now very easy to create, build, debug and deploy Qt applications for Android devices.

Qt team has create Qt port, and a complete Qt Creator integration for Android, Check out the video demonstrating – How to get your first Qt application built for and running on Android.

Series 40 ‘Foursquare’ app updated, S60 and S^3 device support added!

Today Nokia Betalabs team released a new updated version of (Series 40) Foursquare app with more device support, now you can try it on almost any Nokia device. This version is published to get more feedback from the Beta Labs users. Official S60 version is available in Ovi Store.
