Nokia Betalabs just released updated version of  'Mobile Documents' v0.9.20 by Visarc. The updated client now supports more devices, more email services and also fixes some bugs.

“MOBILE DOCUMENTS offers Cloud-Boosted Push Mail – fast, easy, nice, intuitive and with a unique feature set that makes it different from any other mobile mail client and experience. Mobile Documents is the only app to do mobile documents, solving the #1 problem in mobile mail, heavy attachments. With unique patent pending remote attachmnet handling and cherry picking technologies it offers a different user experience and represents a paradigm shift in email.”

New Features added to v0.9.20:

  • Symbian^3, Symbian^1 & Symbian S60 3rd Edt. FP1 Edition and later.

Finally, we release an updated version for Symbian^1 and S60. Many new features are included and many issues have been fixed. One example, there is now an integration with the native email notification framework (no more text/SMS messages).

  • Hotmail, Live & MSN.

Perhaps the most requested feature of all is here, Hotmail support. Now pretty much whatever email service you use, Mobile Documents now got it covered with a streamlined setup, (except POP3 like Rediffmail mail).

  • Exchange 2003, 2007 & 2010 Activesync.

We now support all methods to connect to Microsoft Exchange servers, Activesync, Web Services (and IMAP) – for synchronizing your mail accounts.

  • Home Screen Widgets

Now home screen widgets are available for Symbian^1 devices too (on compatible devices), with three different layouts.

  • Local Attachments

Mobile Documents uniquely sports cherry picking to send attachments. Now you can add and email documents and images directly from your Nokia phone too.

  • More.

For example, publish multiple documents to Mobile Document archives at once and email pinch zoom is available (Symbian^3 only). There are also multiple fixes for various imperfections.
