Nokia Betalabs: Nokia Bubbles updated, Now support Gravity Notifications

Nokia Betalabs just released  new beta version 0.11.4  of  'Nokia Bubbles' app for Symbian^3 devices. There is no official changelog on this update but if you really like to explore the new features, we encourage you to get this update.


"Bubbles is a fun and efficient way to take a shortcut to timely or useful things on your phone.  Bubbles appears when you press the "Apps" key while your device is in sleep mode (instead of the black screen with clock and unlock button).  Simply grab a bubble and drag it to one of the available drop points to initiate the corresponding action."

Nokia 5228,5232,5233 Firmware Updated to 40.1.003 (With Official Changelog)

Nokia 5228, 5232 and 5233 firmware updated to v40.1.003. There previous software version was v21.1.004.

You can update your Nokia 5228, 5232, 5233 device firmware over OTA (Over-The-Air) or via Nokia's Software Updater application,  Ovi Suite on Windows PC . All devices support UDP (User Data Preservation), but its always a good idea to backup all your personal data before updating the  firmware.

Official  Changelog:

  • New Instant Messaging application, with a single chat interface for different service providers
  • The chat feature in Ovi Contacts has also been improved
  • Brings Improved browser
  • This release also includes the Here and Now application that provides you with information on your current location, for example,the local weather forecast.
  • Nokia Ovi Suite is now supported,and several applications have been improved, such as Ovi Store and Ovi Maps.
  • There are also general performance improvements.

Note: It may take some time before the new firmware is available for your region.
