Still waiting for that PR#.# to get the new UI. Here is awesome Nokia theme collection ‘Classic Series‘ by my friend Ind190, which gives your Symbian phone the refreshing new look of what Nokia promised to come to Symbian during the Nokia MWC Event.

The Classic Series themes includes two types of themes NuDark & NuLight- NuDark comes with dark background and NuLight with dull white background. Both themes come with default icon pack & the new icon pack (with and without new top bar in menu), Themes are available for S60 3rd Edition (PreFP1, FP1 , FP2 & Eseries), S60 5th Edition and Symbian^3 devices.

Software Update available for Nokia N97 Mini, X6, C6 and 5230 : Music Player update 15.2

Quick heads-up, A small software update 'Music Player update 15.2′ is now available for most of the Symbian^1 (S60v5) devices N97 Mini, 5230, X6 and C6. With this update you can now view the Lyrics of your songs while they’re playing.

Update Description:

“Experience your music like never before, This improved version of the Music Player app allows you to view the Lyrics to your favourite song while they’re playing”

To get this update just fire up 'Music Player' app or open 'SW Update' application on your Symbian^1 device.

Please do restart your device after the update installation!

Do let us know if you find any thing new.

Note: It may take some time before the new update get available for your region.

Nokia Betalabs: ‘Soundtrckr’ beta updated, Adds Facebook Integration & Performance Improvements

Quick heads-up, Soundtrckr team at Nokia Beta Labs released a new updated version of Soundtrckr' beta ( v1.2) for Symbian ^3 and S60 5th Edition touch devices with some new features and couple of bug fixes.

“Soundtrckr is the first Geosocial Internet radio. Soundtrckr has the largest fully licensed music catalog for Internet radio in the world. 8M tracks to create and share station with any artist, any genre, any language. Soundtrckr is social listening and discovery, where friends share stations and listen together in real time. Soundtrckr is also hyperlocal listening and discovering allowing users to tune into nearby stations created by other users, play what's hot around the city.”

New features and bug fixes in Soundtrckr version 1.2 include:

Facebook Integration. You will be able to post on your wall what you are listening to and invite your Facebook friends to join you on Soundtrckr
Remove auto-capitalization
Performance and various bug fixes
Proper handling on log-in and connection errors

“Based on our testing Soundtrckr does not work currently on T-Mobile USA network. Users of T-Mobile cannot access the application via cellular network. The app will work for those users on Wi-FI. A fix is currently in the works and will be released with the next update.”
